Bionic Reader Converter (bionicreaderconverter.com) is a static, client-side web app. Text conversion, file import (PDF, images, TXT, MD, HTML), OCR, Markdown/HTML reading, and export (HTML, Markdown, PNG, PDF, share links) all run locally in your browser using JavaScript.

We do not upload, store, transmit, sell, or analyze the text you paste, drop, or convert. There are:

• No accounts or sign-ups.
• No server-side storage of your documents, drafts, or exports.
• No tracking of document contents.

Your draft text and display preferences (fixation level, mode, theme, colors) may be saved in your own browser's localStorage so your work survives a refresh. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings or using the converter's clear/reset controls.

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not sell personal information. If privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics or font delivery (e.g. Google Fonts) is used by the hosting setup, only standard technical data (such as anonymized page views, browser type, or requested URLs) may be processed by the infrastructure provider to operate the site. Your converted text is never included in such data.

Shareable #t= links encode your text in the URL fragment. Fragments are processed locally by your browser and are not sent to our servers. Anyone you share the link with can decode its contents, so only share links you are comfortable making visible.

The service is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because no content is uploaded, there is nothing for us to knowingly collect from anyone.
